Draft pending legal review
This document has not been reviewed by an attorney. It is a starting point drafted against general HIPAA and consumer-health practice, not legal advice, and it must be reviewed against the states Veya operates in before the site is promoted publicly.
If you are experiencing a medical emergency, call 911 or go to your nearest emergency department. Do not use this website, the booking system or the messaging feature to seek urgent help.
What Veya provides
Veya provides health and wellness consultations, education and coaching relating to perimenopause, menopause and the years after. Its role is to help you organise your history, track how things change over time, and prepare for conversations with clinicians.
What Veya does not provide
- It does not diagnose medical conditions.
- It does not prescribe, adjust or discontinue medication, including hormone therapy.
- It does not order or interpret laboratory tests as a diagnostic service.
- It does not replace care from your physician or any other licensed clinician.
- It does not provide urgent or emergency care of any kind.
No outcomes are promised
Nothing on this site, in any communication from Veya, or in any document Veya provides should be read as a promise that a symptom will improve, that a condition will change, or that any particular result will follow. Individual experience varies, and there is no way to know in advance how yours will go.
Check-in scores are a record, not a diagnosis
Structured check-ins record what you reported at a point in time so that change is visible. A score is not a diagnosis, is not automatically interpreted, and does not indicate the presence or absence of any condition.
Talk to your physician
Always seek the advice of your physician or another qualified health provider with any question about a medical condition. Never disregard professional medical advice or delay seeking it because of something you read here or discussed with Veya.
